Steel structures in exposed positions
At Sounio we built a galvanised steel structure supporting photovoltaics. In positions like that, corrosion protection is not a finishing detail but part of the structural choice.
Galvanising and coating systems are different approaches. The choice depends on the exposure, the geometry, the ability to prepare the surface properly and future access for maintenance.
Fences on large plots
Over long runs the ground becomes a factor: slopes, level changes and post foundations determine whether the structure stays aligned after a few winters.
Durability is decided by sections, welds, anchorages and the points where water collects — not by the final colour.
